Leanne Tennant has revealed plans for a tour following the release of her new mini-album, RED WINE, LATE NIGHTS. The album was recorded and produced at Wild Mountain sound Studio (a tape based studio) at Mt. Nebo by Jamie Trevaskis - the man behind the sound of Robert Forsters new album "Songs to Play" (The Go-Betweens). After recent successes winning a Qld Music Award and a Billy Thorpe Scholarship nomination, the singer/songwriter is ready to reveal a more true and raw version of herself. Tennant worked with musicians including Ben Ely (Regurgitator), Ben Carstens (Mexico City), and Jamie Trevaskis himself to bring together this new feel. The experience of making RED WINE, LATE NIGHTS was one of the most transforming experiences of Tennants young career. "I've always wanted to record in an Analog studio as it gives you the opportunity to play your songs live, rather than in many broken pieces which are then stitched together. I had to learn to not focus as much on my flaws but focus on the entire piece as it was meant to be". RED WINE, LATE NIGHTS is a raw and wonderfully revealing album thanks to Leanne Tennants honesty partnered with Jamie Trevaskis passion in capturing a moment.
