Just recently I recieved a note from Soda Lee. (Lead Vocalist for Beltane Fire)
It read as such;
Soda Lee
"Hi there, Thank you so much for sharing our posts. Really appreciate it, as live shows for original acts are so scarce here in Perth.
The cd will finally be in our hands and ready for sales in approx two weeks. It's been a long time coming, and an epic production at the highest level possible. West Aust. premier players, the state's top producer, and mastered at Abbey Rd, London ... so need I say it's sounding fairly awesome!!!
As stated, a large part of all sales will be donated to selected global charities. I've opened a Page (not yet public) titled 'The Beltane Foundation' where info will be recorded.
We're off to Europe at the end of the month where we obviously have a much better chance of exposure.
When we have it in our hands, I'll be writing an intro. post, so I'd love you to share that for us if you would.
In the mean time maybe you could share our Reverb link. Thanks again, you rock!!!" To Which I replied;
"Looking forward to hearing it Soda. Also, Thanks for being so generous and thinking of those less fortunate by forming the Beltane Foundation. Tom."
Now, despite what most of you think, Musician's are not wealthy people. In most cases Musician's are under-paid and have hardly any working privelege's or rights at all.
If a Musician eats or has a drink, it's usually inclusive of their performance fee. Some Venues deduct the cost of drinks and food from the fee. In the mean time you have just made the Venue owner at least Ten times what they paid you.
Despite this, Beltane Fire has chosen to help out those less fortunate through donating 50% of the income from their forthcoming CD release 'Spellbound' to various World-wide and select Local Charities. I applaud them for their decision, it's a case of the poor looking after the poor again. This is a common theme in life.
I wish them all the best of luck in Europe and, thank them for the formation of The Beltane Foundation. I hope their actions will become infectious. Not just amongst Musicians, but hopefully the middle and upper class.
Tom McLeod.

Beltane Fire Bio.
BELTANE FIRE was officially formed in 2010 as a recording project. However, it wasn't long before the band became a dynamic live act.
It is a fully original Hard Rock outfit inspired by timeless and classic music influences, blended with the passion and rebellion of the hardest power bands of the 80s & 90s. The songs are high energy, and melodic with a deep blues/bass driven edge.
As a live act, BELTANE FIRE likes a large stage, and entertains in true rock star style, incorporating theatrics, keeping the audience mesmerised throughout the entire performance.
Beltane Fire's Debut CD "SPELLBOUND" and accompanying video clip is underway. It's due for release in mid 2015, with up to 50% of all proceeds being donated to IFAW, OXFAM Australia, specific areas of 'World Vision'. Contributions to selected local charities are to be announced soon.

But What Does 'Beltane' Mean?
Beltane is a Celtic word which means 'fires of Bel' (Bel was a Celtic deity). It is a Pagan Fire Festival that celebrates of the coming of summer and the fertility of the coming year.
Celtic festivals have often been tied in with the needs of the community. In spring time, at the beginning of the farming calendar, everybody would be hoping for a fruitful year for their families and fields.
Beltane rituals would often include courting: for example. Young men and women collecting blossoms in the woods and lighting fires in the evening. These rituals would often lead to matches and marriages, either immediately in the coming summer or autumn.
